Job Title: RN - Wound Care

Location: Brooklyn, NY, 11206

Job Start: 04/27/2026

Job Type: 13-week contractual + extensions

Shift Time: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

Working Hours: 37.5 hrs/week; 7.5 hrs/day and 5 days in a week

Pay Range:

$3300/week - $3812/week; $88/hr. - $105/hr.

(based on the experience, miles, and working hours).

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced registered nurse specializing in wound care to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing comprehensive wound management and patient care across various clinical settings, including acute care, long-term care, outpatient clinics, and home health environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct through wound assessments, including evaluation of wound size, depth, exudate, and infection signs, utilizing evidence-based protocols.
  • Develop individualized wound care plans incorporating advanced techniques such as debridement, dressing selection, and infection control measures.
  • Routinely providing comprehensive assessments of patients at risk for developing pressure injuries. Initiating preventative measures.
  • Escalate and communicate challenges identified including ethical issues and issues related to conflict resolution.
  • Routinely collaborating with Assistant Director of Nursing for Wound Care to initiate and recommend best practices based on prudent assessment

Required Qualifications:

  • Updated Resume
  • NY-RN License
  • BLS (AHA) Certification
  • Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (CWOCN) issued by the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing Certification Board (WOCNCB) OR WCC
  • COVID Card
