Tell us about the unit(s):

·         Number of Beds: 100 Facility

·         Number of Staff: Typically, only have 1 NM tech. Contract Labor needs to be able to work independently.

·         Type of Staff:  

o    Day Shift:  7:30-16:00 no call/no weekends

o    Night Shift: none

·         Patient Ratios (Estimated)  - We perform around 40 NM exams per month. Stress and Lung  are our higher volume exams

·         Type of Equipment: GE Discovery

·         Documentation System: Meditech and PACS

·         Call Requirements: none

Typical Hiring Profile

Must have: (includes certifications and special skills, ex: ACLS, BLS, NIH)

·         BLS

·         ARRT (NM) or CNMT

List Typical Procedures Performed on Unit(s):  

·         Stress, Lung, Bone, GI Bleeding, Thyroids, Lymphoscintigraphy are our most common

Additional Preferences: (ex: previous travel experience preferred, easily adaptable to fast paced unit, can function well independently)

·         Works well with others

·         Works independently

·         Can transport- our IP volumes average 12-14 per month

·         Easily adaptable

·         Prefer experienced  NM technologist

·         Have knowledge of Nuctrac

·         Scrub Color – Black top/bottom scrubs
