Description

Travel OR Registered Nurse (RN) | 13-Week Contract | Sidney, MT | Day Shift + Call

Seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment supporting perioperative care across OR and PACU, including pediatric cases.

Assignment Details:

Location: Sidney, MT
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday–Friday)
Hours: 36 hours/week guaranteed
Call Requirement: Rotating call shifts

Key Responsibilities:

Perform OR circulating duties during surgical procedures
Provide post-anesthesia care (PACU) coverage, including on-call support
Deliver care across pre-op, intra-op, and post-op phases
Monitor and assess pediatric and adult patients
Develop and implement individualized care plans
Ensure compliance with perioperative standards and patient safety protocols
Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams

Clinical Scope:

Involvement in Operating Room and PACU settings
Care for both pediatric and adult patient populations
Participation in after-hours PACU coverage via call

Requirements (Must-Have):

Active RN License (Montana or Compact)
BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certifications
Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience
Experience with circulating and PACU responsibilities

Call: Required (rotating schedule, includes PACU coverage) Schedule: Weekday shifts with call rotation Floating: May be required within perioperative services Work Environment: Surgical services department Patient Population: Pediatric and adult Compliance: Background check and drug screening required
