<h2>Medical Technologist (MT/MLS/CLS)</h2><p><br />Location: Fort Harrison, MT<br />Shifts: Days and Nights, 40 hours a week.<br />Contract: Onsite<br />Start: ASAP | Duration: 1 Year (Extension Possible)<br /> </p><h3>Job Overview:</h3><p>We are actively hiring Medical Technologists (MT/MLS/CLS) for an awarded federal contract at a VA Medical Center in Fort Harrison, MT. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a stable government healthcare setting providing critical diagnostic services to veterans.<br /> </p><h3>Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>Perform clinical lab testing (Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, etc.)</li><li>Blood Bank Experience required- Mandatory</li><li>Able to perform ABG (Arterial Blood Gas)- preferred, training will be provided.</li><li>Analyze specimens and ensure accuracy of results</li><li>Operate and maintain laboratory equipment</li><li>Follow quality control and safety protocols</li><li>Document results in laboratory systems</li><li>Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams</li><li>Ensure compliance with VA and regulatory standards</li></ul><h3>Requirements:</h3><p>Bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science or related field<br />Minimum 1-year recent clinical lab experience (within last 6 months)<br />Certification required: ASCP / AMT / AAB<br />BLS (AHA) required</p>
