Title: Registered Nurse – Med surg/Tele

Location: Greensburg, PA 15601

Job Type: Contract 13 Weeks with possible extension

Schedule:  Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) & Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Weekly Hours: 36 hours (3 days x 12 hours)

Note: Local candidates will be considered at a different pay rate.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Med-Surg/Telemetry team. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions, including those requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. You will administer medications, monitor patient conditions, interpret telemetry data, and support physicians in managing acute and chronic illnesses.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment
• Assess patient conditions and report any changes promptly
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed
• Manage patients with acute and chronic medical conditions, including post-surgical care
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Ensure adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols
• Respond to emergencies and initiate appropriate interventions

Required Qualification

• Active PA or Compact RN license
• 2 years of Experience in Med Surg/Tele
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
