BHP4 – Gero-psych – INTERVIEW REQUIRED! 

BLS and CPI blue card from Crisis Prevention Institute required for submission. RTO due at submission. We will not be accepting any RTO during the first two weeks of the assignment. Only accepting 7 days max of RTO. Any candidate with more than 7 days will automatically be rejected. No block schedule requests will be accepted. Please list epic experience on resume and where the nurse last used epic as they need epic experience within 1 year to be considered. Float required. 2+ years of experience required. Must have an accredited nursing degree through the ACEN or CCNE to be considered.

Unit Description:

Looking for a Gero-psych RN with 2+ years of experience. Patients are mostly over 60 yrs old, dementia, depression or suicidal. This has 16 private rooms. 1 to 6/7 ratios. Ideal Staffing plan- 3 RNs/2 techs. We have 1-3 techs on the unit depending on the census and the acuity of the patients. Centrak badges for increased safety (like a panic button) Protective services dispatched immediately when pressed. Two offices on the 5th floor and PS available. Must be willing to float within your scope of practice and can be floated to Med /Surg units as helping hands. BLS & CPI (non - crisis intervention) required. RN’s must be able to draw blood and manage IVs. Interviews are required. Please list dates/times nurses are available for an interview in EII for them to be considered.
