Job Title: Registered Nurse- MS/Tele-PCU - Floate
Location: Council Bluffs, IA, 51503 
Shift: Night 
Shift Length: 12 hours
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Duration: 10 weeks

Position Summary:
Skilled RN – MS/Telemetry/PCU with 2+ years of acute care experience in hospital settings, responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients with complex medical and cardiac conditions in progressive care settings. Monitors cardiac rhythms, interprets telemetry data, and promptly responds to clinical changes and emergencies. Administers medications, IV therapies, and implements physician-directed treatment plans while ensuring patient safety. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and improve patient outcomes. Maintains accurate documentation and adheres to clinical standards, holding active BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications and an Iowa (IA) State RN license.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
• Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, IV therapy, and treatments
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Respond to emergencies and perform life-saving interventions following ACLS and hospital protocols
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with clinical standards and patient safety guidelines

Charting System: Cerner (Required) 
 

Documents Required:

• Valid IA State RN license
