Job Title - Surgical Services
Unit - CVOR Certified Surgical First Assistant
Duration -15 Weeks
Shift - Day 3x12-Hour (06:30 - 19:00)
Location - Atlanta, GA 30309

Position Summary:
Highly skilled Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) procedures, with expertise in assisting during complex cardiac and vascular surgeries. Works closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care throughout the perioperative process.

Job Duties:

Assist cardiovascular surgeons during complex cardiac and vascular procedures, including open-heart surgeries.
Perform intraoperative duties such as tissue handling, suturing, clamping, retracting, and maintaining hemostasis.
Prepare and position patients for surgery, ensuring proper alignment and safety throughout the procedure.

Note: HARD STOP: Cardiac, Vascular, Endovascular, Thoracic experience

Requirements:

Experience: 2 years
Certifications: BLS, CSFA, NBSTSA, NCCSA also accepted
