Description

Sterile Processing Tech
Shift: 5 x 8 | 15:00-23:30 - with rotating weekends
EOW, Holidays as needed

Requirements:
- IAHCSMM/HSPA Certification
- 2 years of experience as an SPT specifically in the following: Decontamination and Disinfection, Case Cart, Organizing trays, Placing instruments on trays, Preference cards, Proper labeling, Proper selection of wrapping materials, Sterilization wrapping procedures, Sets/trays assembly, Equipment Documentation, Sterile Processing Microsystem (SPM)
- Specialty equipment processing experience required with Bariatric, Cardiac, Dental, Ear/Nose/Throat, General, Laparoscopic, Neurology, OB/GYN, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Plastics, Podiatry, Robotics, Transplant, Urology, and Vascular
- 1 prior travel assignment
- experience in an acute care hospital OR preferred with the following skills preferred as well: Aseptic Technique, Cleaning equipment (crash carts, IV pumps, PCA pumps), Endoscopes, Scope/Probe Reprocessing, Flexible Endoscope Reprocessing
