Manager Interviews
UNIT: Hospice - South Portland

ME license.
Certs Required: BLS. driver’s license and must use own vehicle to drive from patient home to patient home.

Experience Required: 1 year. Nursing skill set to care for the common diagnosis listed below:

Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
Oncology diagnosis, Dementia/Alzheimer’s, end stage CHF/COPD, end stage neurological conditions (ALS, MS, Parkinson’s)

Patient Ratios:
Case Manager averages 15 to 20 patients

Floating:
If South Portland Territory Census is low may ask traveler to support other agency locations, if census allows.

Pros

I have worked with this company for 3, along with a few others, and they have been great! They seem to be very appreciative of their staff and always sending appreciative gifts to you. I can’t say much now that they have joined TotalMed, but am looking forward to see what develops.

Cons

Rates are not always the best, would be nice to have a few more eastern and southern state options, like Mississippi or North Carolina cities
