Description
Experience: Must work well with Neonatal population. Good communication, critical thinking skills, be able to multi-task, work independently. Must have experience with vents and central lines. Three years NICU experience required. Certifications: BLS, NRP Dress Code: Navy Scrubs Our NICU nurses routinely float to Mother-Baby or L&D to care for newborns. They are baby nurse/transition nurse for new babies and cares for well babies on the mother-baby unit while another nurse cares for the mom. We rarely float to the house to be a safety advocate or task but that is a possibility. We take turns floating. We do not have a mother/baby float pool.
