Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) – La Plata, Maryland

Sunbelt Staffing is hiring a Respiratory Therapist for an 8-week travel contract in La Plata, MD. This is a great opportunity for a well-rounded therapist who is comfortable working across all patient populations in a dynamic hospital setting.

Job Details:
Location: La Plata, MD
Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Contract Length: 8 weeks
Start Date: Flexible (late April target)
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Holidays: As scheduled
On-Call: None

Responsibilities:
Provide respiratory care across a wide range of patient populations including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
Perform respiratory treatments, ventilator management, airway management, and ABG draws
Work in multiple settings including adult critical care, emergency department, and pediatrics
Float within specialty areas as needed

Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
First-time travelers accepted
CRT or RRT credential required
BLS, ACLS, and PALS required

Experience & Skills:
Experience with ventilators, BiPAP, CPAP, and high flow oxygen systems
Strong background in medication administration including inhaled therapies
Ability to assist with intubation and manage airway devices
Familiarity with neonatal and pediatric respiratory care including CPAP and ventilator support
Comfortable working with a wide variety of respiratory diagnoses including ARDS, pneumonia, and RSV
