Travel Pediatric Echo Technologist – Baltimore, Maryland (21201)
Sunbelt Staffing is hiring an experienced Pediatric Echo Tech for a 12-week travel contract in Baltimore, MD. This is a great opportunity to work in a specialized pediatric cardiac setting supporting patients from neonates through adulthood.
Job Details:
Location: Baltimore, MD (21201)
Schedule: 5x8-hour day shifts (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Start Date: Flexible (late April target)
Call: Required (approximately once every 8 weeks)
Weekends: Not required
Holidays: As scheduled
Floating: Required within specialty and to affiliated facilities
Facility Details:
Charting System: Epic
Department: Pediatric Echocardiography
Rooms: 3
Daily Volume: Approximately 8 patients per day
Responsibilities:
Perform pediatric echocardiograms including complex congenital cases and post-surgical evaluations
Utilize Doppler, 2D/3D imaging, and advanced cardiac imaging techniques
Assist with transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)
Work across pediatric acute care, outpatient, and ICU settings
Maintain accurate documentation in Epic
Requirements:
ARDMS required
ARDMS RDCS (AE and/or PE) required
BLS required
Minimum 2 years of echo experience (pediatric experience required)
Preferred Certifications:
ARDMS FE
ARDMS RDCS FE
Required Skills:
Pediatric echo including complex congenital anomalies and post-surgical repairs
2D/3D echo, Doppler (color, pulsed wave, continuous wave), M-mode
TEE experience
Portable studies and ICU imaging
Additional Experience:
Familiarity with congenital heart conditions including Tetralogy of Fallot, Transposition of the Great Vessels, Hypoplastic Heart Syndromes, and more
Experience with GE and Philips equipment and PACS
Ability to work in ICU and emergency settings
Patient Population:
Neonates, Pediatrics, Adolescents, and Adults
Patient Diagnoses:
Congenital and acquired pediatric cardiac disease
Facility Requirements:
Flu Vaccine: Required (no exemptions)
COVID-19 Vaccine: Not required
