Title: Registered Nurse – ICU Stepdown

Location: Bronx, NY

Job Type: Contract 13 Weeks with possible extension

Schedule: Day 3x12-Hour (Nights Available Too)

Weekly Hours: 36 hours (3 days x 12 hours)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care team. The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality care to critically ill patients, including continuous monitoring, administering medications, and supporting physicians in managing complex and life-threatening conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in ICU or critical care settings
• Continuously monitor patient condition, vital signs, and cardiac rhythms
• Administer medications, IV drips, and life-support treatments as prescribed
• Operate and monitor advanced medical equipment such as ventilators and cardiac monitors
• Assess patient status and respond rapidly to changes or emergencies

• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans

   

Required Qualification

• Active NY RN license
• 2 years of Experience in ICU Stepdown Unit
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
