Description
Sunbelt Staffing is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Tech for a 16-week travel contract in Baltimore, MD. This is a weekday day-shift opportunity with optional on-call availability, offering consistency with the flexibility to pick up additional hours if desired.
Job Details:
Location: Baltimore, MD (21201)
Schedule: 5x8-hour day shifts (8:00 AM – 5:30 PM), Monday–Friday
Contract Length: 16 weeks
Start Date: Flexible (late April target)
Call: Optional (department open to discussion)
Weekends: On-call only, if participating
Holidays: As scheduled
Floating: Required within department as needed

Patient Ratio: 1:1
Responsibilities:
Perform a full range of nuclear medicine procedures including diagnostic and therapeutic studies
Conduct SPECT imaging, myocardial perfusion studies, and PET scans
Administer radiopharmaceuticals and monitor patient response
Start IVs, draw venous blood, and follow all safety and isolation protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including radiology and rapid response
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience
First-time travelers accepted with strong experience
ARRT (N) or CNMT or NMTCB certification required
Maryland state license required
BLS required
Preferred Experience:
Background in nuclear cardiology and hospital-based settings
Experience with GE and Siemens equipment
Familiarity with Epic charting system
Teaching or community hospital experience preferred
Required Skills:
Bone scans (3 phase, whole body, limited)
Myocardial perfusion (exercise and pharmacologic stress)
SPECT imaging (brain, liver, renal, thyroid, parathyroid)
PET scans, MUGA, HIDA, and gastric emptying studies
Renal flow/function studies including Lasix protocols
Ventilation/perfusion lung scans
Tumor localization and cancer surveys
Patient Population:
Neonates through geriatrics
Facility Requirements:
Flu Vaccine: Required (no exemptions)
COVID-19 Vaccine: Not required
