📜 Certifications & Licensure

• Required:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ARRT (Radiologic Technologist certification)
  • WV X-ray License
  • WV CARES (background check) required before start

🏥 Department Overview

• Rooms/Equipment:
  • 3 General X-ray rooms
  • 1 Fluoro room
  • 2 Portable units
  • 3 C-Arms
• Daily Volume: ~110 studies/day

👥 Staffing

• Days: 6–7 techs
• Evenings: 3–4 techs
• Nights: 1 tech (you may be solo overnight)

🔄 Responsibilities

• General X-ray imaging
• Portable imaging
• OR cases:
  • Cystos
  • Orthopedic procedures
  • GI cases
• Fluoroscopy (ortho & GI)

👉 Must be able to work across ALL areas (no specialization-only roles)

⚠️ Experience Requirements

• Must be comfortable with:
  • General X-ray
  • OR
  • Fluoro
  • Portables
• ✅ First-time travelers accepted

🔁 Floating

• Yes — between:
  • General radiology
  • Fluoroscopy
  • Operating Room

💻 Systems & Equipment

• EMR: Community Works
• PACS: Intellirad / Intelliconnect
• Equipment brands:
  • C-Arms: OEC
  • Portables: GE AMX (DR-Konica)
  • Rooms: Del Medical, Siemens, Philips

👨‍⚕️ Support Structure

• Imaging Director & Manager (daytime, on-call availability)
• Lead tech often on afternoons
• Radiologist:
  • In-house until 5 PM
  • On-call after
  • Overnight reads (2 AM–6 AM) via vRad

🕒 Schedule

• 2-2-3 rotation (2 on, 2 off, 3 on)
• 8-hour shifts across:
  • Days (multiple start times)
  • Afternoons (2:30–11 PM)
  • Nights (12–8 AM)

📅 Other Requirements

• Weekend: Every other weekend (EOW)
• Holidays: Possible rotation
• Call: None

👕 Dress Code

• Any clean, professional scrubs
• Optional: Emerald green (staff standard)

🎓 Orientation

• 5 shifts with a preceptor
