Shift: Days (12*3)

Requirements:

Day Shift 3 x 12s Wednesday - Friday/Thursday - Saturday. 0530 - 1800; Must have BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP. Must be able to do EKGS and ABGs. No Call, but may have opportunity to pick up additional shifts.

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential and Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license Required
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Required
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification Required
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification Required
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification Required
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS: Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) certification Preferred

Description:

Performs basic and critical respiratory care services. Has the ability to work well without supervision as well as maintain supervision over others, as delegated. Provides respiratory care services for the adult and geriatric patient. Provides respiratory care for patients with respiratory disease, as ordered by the physician and in accordance with current department policies concerning all phases of respiratory therapy. Completes paperwork, electronic medical records, flow sheets, and charges for each patient. This position is represented by RCHEA.
