Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health

Location: Englewood, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Shift: Night shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Weekly Hours: 36 hours (includes weekends)
Call Requirements: On-call/text when shifts open or someone calls off
Float Requirements: May float to all 4 units as needed
Patient Population:
- Adolescents (13-17 years old)
- Adults (18+)
Unit Profile:
- 4 units, 20-26 patients each
- 96-bed hospital
- Patient Ratios:
  - 1:12 on Adolescent, Adult Mental Wellness, and Adult Acute units
  - 1:10 on Adult Dual Diagnosis/Substance Use Disorder unit
EHR System: HCS
Common Diagnoses/Treatment: Acute stabilization behavioral health; average length of stay 7-10 days

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Colorado
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum 2 years of psychiatric nursing experience, including experience within the last year

Additional Information

Dress Code: Navy scrubs
Call/text coverage for shift openings or absences
Personality fit: Ability to work in an acute behavioral health environment
