Description

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients as per physician orders
Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures such as PET, SPECT, and other diagnostic scans
Monitor patient condition before, during, and after procedures
Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring proper calibration and safety standards
Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and self
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in EMR systems
Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and healthcare team members for optimal patient care
Educate patients about procedures and post-procedure care
Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations

Required Qualifications:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field
Active California state license (if applicable)
Certification by ARRT (N) or NMTCB
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
Minimum 1–2 years of recent experience in nuclear medicine
