Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract assignment in Hawaii. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical expertise in cardiac catheterization procedures, demonstrate excellent critical thinking skills, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent on-call responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Manage and monitor patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure.
- Respond rapidly to emergencies and critical situations in the Cath Lab.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule, including consecutive weekends as needed.
- Follow all documentation and compliance requirements using the Cerner EMR system.
- Deliver professional, safe, and compassionate patient care at all times.
Requirements
- Active Hawaii RN License (must be active before starting).
- Minimum 5 years of nursing experience, preferably in Cath Lab or cardiovascular care.
