Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Care Cardiac Telemetry

💰 Pay Rate: $33 – $59 per hour

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Cardiac Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Acute Care team. The RN will care for patients with cardiac and complex medical conditions requiring continuous monitoring. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, interpreting cardiac rhythms, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients requiring cardiac and telemetry monitoring
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to abnormalities promptly
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and cardiac treatments as prescribed
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Assist with treatment of cardiac conditions such as arrhythmias, heart failure, and post-cardiac procedures
• Educate patients and families on disease management, medications, and discharge planning
• Collaborate with physicians, cardiologists, and healthcare team members
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records
• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and hospital policies

Qualifications

• Active RN license – Georgia
• BLS & ACLS (AHA) required
• Telemetry or cardiac experience preferred
• Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
• Excellent critical thinking and communication abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
