Unit Specifics:

·       Number of Beds : 2 CVOR’s

·       Patient Ratios : 1-4 cases/day

·       Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Mix of RN and scrub tech

·       Type of equipment : Standard OR equipment

·       Documentation system: Meditech

·       Scheduling requirements: M-F shift coverage plus on call duties, weekends and weekdays

·       Floating policy: Usually do not float, if floating needed often support cath lab or main OR

·       Patient Experience requirements: Excellent patient care skills

Hospital Specifics-

·       Certifications: STS Isolated CABG 2-star program

Requested Skill Set:

Previous CVOR experience.  Team performs cardiac, thoracic and vascular cases

Must have:

Strong skills in: 

Cardiac (CV/PV)

AAA

Coronary Artery Bypass Graft

Fem-Pop Bypass

Mitral or Aortic Valve Replacement

Advanced skills needed:

Procedures performed on unit:  

Cardiac, Thoracic and Vascular surgical cases

Certifications Required:

BLS

ACLS preferred

Dress Code: (Required uniform)
