Shift: 4 × 10-hour shifts (variable start 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM)
 

Job Overview

This is a Travel RN – PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) position caring for post-surgical patients from pediatric to geriatric.
The hospital is specifically requiring Critical Care experience.

 

This role involves:

  • Post-op recovery monitoring
  • Medication administration
  • Monitoring vitals & complications after anesthesia
  • Patient education
  • Documentation and care planning
  • Delegating tasks to support staff

Required Certifications & License

  • RN License (Texas or Compact License)
  • BLS – AHA
  • ACLS – AHA
  • PALS (AHA) OR ENPC
  • Critical Care experience (Required)

Preferred:

  • BSN
  • Perioperative / OR / PACU experience

Work Schedule

  • 4 shifts per week
  • 10 hours per shift
  • Variable start between 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM

Other Important Notes

  • Temp-to-Perm possibility
  • Must attend New Nurse Orientation within first 30 days
  • Preceptorship and competency validation required
  • Annual competency verification required
