Join Our Team as a Travel/Contract Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Make an Impact in Patient Care!

Are you a dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist ready to bring your expertise to a dynamic healthcare environment? We are seeking a highly motivated professional for an exciting travel/contract opportunity  in Rancho Mirage, CA. This role is pivotal in providing essential imaging and therapeutic services, ensuring patient safety, and supporting state-of-the-art nuclear medicine procedures. If you thrive in a fast-paced setting and are passionate about advancing your career, this is your chance to shine.

Required Skills:

  • Valid California State License in Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • Certification from ARRT, NMTCB, or ASCP
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification
  • At least 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine (new graduates welcome with demonstrated competence)
  • Proficiency in nuclear medicine imaging, radiopharmaceutical calibration, and operation of imaging equipment
  • Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols and patient care procedures
  • Ability to accurately record clinical data and manage pre-procedure patient preparation
  • Skilled in IV start and injection procedures

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Prior experience with therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures
  • Familiarity with advanced imaging protocols and troubleshooting equipment
  • Knowledge of inventory management and record-keeping systems

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • 1-3 years’ relevant professional experience

Other Requirements:

  • Must submit license, resume, and cover sheet with application
  • Availability for shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with options for 8-hour or 10-hour shifts (Monday through Friday)
  • Travel assignment scheduled from 05/18/2026 to 08/15/2026
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative in patient positioning and procedure setup
  • Willingness to adhere to radiation safety and patient care standards
