Description

Travel ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift

Location: Lubbock, TX
Shift: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 3×12‑hour shifts

🩺 Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive critical care to ICU patients with complex medical needs
Manage ventilated patients and advanced respiratory support (BiPAP/CPAP)
Perform arterial line and central line care
Titrate cardiac, vasoactive, and sedation drips
Interpret ABGs and manage ventilator settings
Provide neurological care including:
- CVA / acute stroke management
- ICP monitoring
- EVD and lumbar drain management
- Post‑craniotomy and post‑neurosurgical care
Monitor and manage cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias
Respond to emergencies and rapid clinical changes
Follow infection‑control, PPE, and safety protocols
Accurately document care in Epic

📋 Required Qualifications

Active RN license (state of practice)
Minimum 2 years ICU experience
BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
Epic experience (Required)
