Description

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (Night Shift)

Location: Orange, CA
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 3×12‑hour shifts

🚫 NO first‑time travelers – HARD STOP
🚫 Minimum 2 years L&D experience – HARD STOP

🩺 Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care for high‑risk antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients
Manage labor patients with conditions including:
- Pre‑eclampsia/eclampsia
- Hypertension
- Diabetes
- Preterm labor
- Multiple gestations
- IUFD and fetal anomalies
Administer and manage medications such as:
- Magnesium sulfate
- Insulin drips
- Antihypertensives
Perform continuous electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) and intervene for abnormal FHR patterns
Assist with and independently manage:
- Vaginal deliveries
- High‑risk deliveries
- Cesarean sections (must circulate)
- D&C, cerclage, versions
Collaborate with OB providers, anesthesia, NICU, and interdisciplinary teams
Document accurately and timely in Epic

📋 Required Qualifications (ALL HARD STOPS)

Active RN license (must be active; no pending licenses)
Minimum 2 years Labor & Delivery RN experience
Travel experience required (no exceptions)
Ability to circulate for C‑sections
Certifications Required:
- BLS
- ACLS
- NRP
- AWHONN Intermediate (or NCC EFM accepted)
Must submit ALL RTO at time of submission
Must be able to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
Travel pairs not accepted
