Description

📌 Job Summary – M/S Tele RN (Days/Nights + EOW)

Weekly Hours: 36 hrs/week (3 shifts × 12 hrs)

📍 Unit: Phippen 6/7
Unit Type: Ortho / Neuro Med-Surg with Telemetry
Total Beds: 32 (16 beds in Phippen 6 + 16 beds in Phippen 7)

🕒 Shift Details

36 hours per week
12-hour shifts
Every Other Weekend (EOW) required

Possible Rotating Shifts (Days):

7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (only if needed)

⚠️ Night shift positions do NOT rotate

👩‍⚕️ Nurse-to-Patient Ratio

Day / Evening: 1:4 (can go up to 1:5)
Night: 1:5 – 1:6

🏥 Patient Population

Elective Orthopedic & Neuro Surgery patients
Fractures
Neuro patients
Medical overflow patients

🔄 Floating

Travelers must be willing to float to applicable units when needed.

📋 Required Experience

Minimum 2 years RN experience
Med/Surg RN background
Neuro assessment skills
Telemetry competency
Must be able to read Telemetry strips

💻 Charting System

EPIC

📜 Required Certifications

Massachusetts RN License
BLS
ACLS (Preferred)
