Description

PCU RN: Minimum Experience: 1 year Please let CRT know if offer details if candidate has less than 1.5 years of experience they will need to send profile to manager for approval
Tele RN: Minimum Experience: 1 year Please let CRT know if offer details if candidate has less than 1.5 years of experience they will need to send profile to manager for approval
LPN: 1 year Please let CRT know if offer details if candidate has less than 1.5 years of experience they will need to send profile to manager for approval experience must include some Telemetry experience
Will you accept a first-time traveler?
RN: Yes, if greater than 2 years experience
LPN: No no exceptions
Travelers must live 100 miles away from any Monument Health facility
Previous permanent staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
Patient Types:
Adults with a variety of diagnoses including CHF, ARF, hepatitis, ESLD, DM, DKA, pneumonia, sepsis, GI bleed, syncope, chest pain, pulmonary emboli, respiratory failure, COPD, arrhythmias, seizure disorders, overdose, and delirium tremors.
Patient Ratios:
RN:
PCU/Tele - 1:4 (Days Nights)
Med/Surg 1:5 (Days Nights)
CNA: 1:8 (Days Nights)
Required Certifications:
RN:
(PCU Tele): BLS, ACLS
LPN: BLS required; ACLS preferred
CNA: certified CNA, BLS is not required (per NM)
Required Education:
Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing; Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing
Skills required:

ICU RN qualified to float to ED
PCU RN qualified to float to ICU
