Job Title: Medical-Surgical LPN – Nights

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights, 48-hour or 36-hour shifts 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Medical-Surgical LPN to join a Level I Trauma Center in Memphis, TN. The ideal candidate will have recent experience in Medical-Surgical nursing, IV certification, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical-Surgical unit
• Administer medications, including IV therapy (IV certification required)
• Collaborate with RNs, PCCs, and other team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and records
• Respond to patient needs and emergencies according to hospital protocols
• Participate in team nursing, supporting colleagues as needed
• Work scheduled nights with occasional on-call and weekend coverage as required

Requirements:

• Licensure: Active LPN license in compliance with NLC guidelines
• Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years recent Medical-Surgical experience
  • Level I Trauma experience required
  • Large hospital experience required
  • Travel nursing experience preferred
• Certifications:
  • IV Certification – Firm requirement
• First-timers: Not accepted unless candidate has 3+ years recent Med-Surg experience
