Job Details :
ICU/PCU Float RN – Night Shift
Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (6:45P–7:15A), 13-week contract
Schedule/Weekends: EOW or 6 weekends per 6-week block | Must work 1 holiday per contract
Charting: EPIC required | First-time travelers & locals accepted
Licensure: VA RN or Compact/Single-state license eligible
Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
Clinical Skills / Experience:
- ICU/PCU floating; must be comfortable in all ICU and PCU units
- IV therapy: arterial lines, central/PICC line care, blood products, IV initiation/maintenance
- Respiratory support: BiPAP/CPAP, ventilated patients
- Medication administration: continuous IV sedation, emergency meds, cardiac/vasoactive drips
- Wound care: surgical wounds, drains, wound vacs
- Cardiac monitoring: dysrhythmia interpretation/management
- Endocrine/metabolic: IV insulin protocol adherence
- ICU experience required, large Level 1/2 facility preferred; 2+ years experience ideal
