Description

Title: Travel RN – ICU | Nights | 16 Weeks

Location: Lubbock, TX

Duration: 16 Weeks

Shift: Nights – 3x12 (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled ICU Registered Nurse for a 16-week travel assignment at a Level II Trauma Center. This role offers the opportunity to work in a high-acuity environment caring for critically ill adult and geriatric patients. First-time travelers are welcome to apply!

Key Responsibilities:

Provide care for critically ill patients in ICU setting
Monitor and manage ventilated patients and advanced life support equipment
Administer and titrate vasoactive and cardiac drips
Perform central line and arterial line care
Interpret ABGs and cardiac rhythms
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care
Float to other units as needed

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
Active RN License (Compact required)
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Experience with Epic charting system
Neuro ICU experience preferred
First-time travelers accepted

Additional Details:

Patient Ratio: 1:2 – 1:3
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Floating: Yes
48 Hours: Approved
