Description

We are actively seeking an experienced Intermediate Care / PCU Registered Nurse (RN) for a high-acuity IMCU unit in Utica, NY. This role involves caring for complex cardiac, neuro, and respiratory patients, including stepdown and post-op cases.

📋 Job Details

Start Date: May 18, 2026
End Date: August 16, 2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
Guaranteed Hours: 48-hour
On-Call: Not required

🩺 Unit Overview

Unit Type: Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU / PCU)
Beds: 64 total (15 Neuro-designated)
Patient Population: Adults (18+)
Common Diagnoses:
- Neuro (stroke, post-neuro care)
- Cardiac (MI, CV stepdown)
- Respiratory (COPD, BiPAP support)
- DKA, Sepsis, Trauma, Post-op

💻 EMR

EPIC (REQUIRED experience)

✅ Requirements (Strict Submission Criteria)

Minimum 2+ years IMCU / PCU experience
Travel experience REQUIRED
Active New York RN License
Certifications required:
- AHA BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
EPIC experience REQUIRED
