ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Utica, NY
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Utica, NY. The ideal candidate will have strong critical care experience across various ICU settings and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Charge nurse experience and cardiac/heart experience are highly preferred.

Shift Details:
Night Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Block scheduling is not guaranteed

Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity ICU setting
Monitor and manage critically ill patients with complex conditions
Operate and manage advanced life support equipment
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float to other units as required (excluding Behavioral Health and ER unless holding patients)

Requirements:
Minimum 2+ years of recent ICU experience (ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU)
Travel experience required and must be clearly documented on resume
Charge nurse experience preferred
Strong experience with CRRT and Prismaflex required
Cardiac/heart experience highly preferred

Certifications & Licensure:
Active RN License – New York (required)
All active RN licenses must be verified via NURSYS
Current AHA ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required

EMR Requirement:
Experience with EPIC EMR system required
