Travel Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) – Day Shift
📍 Location: Fort Myers, FL
Shift: 8-Hour Days | Flexible Scheduling
🕒 Day Shift | 7:30 AM–4:00 PM or 9:30 AM–6:00 PM
⏱ Guaranteed 36 hours/week (potential to flex up to 40 hours based on volume)
Overview:
Join a dedicated outpatient pediatric rehabilitation team as a Physical Therapist in a hospital-based setting. This role is ideal for therapists experienced in early intervention and pediatric care, working with infants and young children with diverse developmental needs.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years of pediatric PT experience – required
- Experience with ages 0–3 – required
- Hospital/medical-based experience – required
- Experience with:
- Developmental and genetic disabilities
- Prematurity (NICU graduates)
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Active Florida PT license – required
- BLS certification – required
- Travel experience – required
- Orthopedic experience – preferred
- Epic EMR experience – required
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy services to pediatric patients in an outpatient rehab setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Work with infants and toddlers with developmental delays and medical complexities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
- Document patient progress accurately in Epic EMR
- Educate families on treatment plans and home care strategies
- Maintain compliance with safety and care standards
