Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Emergency Room RN Supervisor to lead clinical operations within the Emergency Department at a rural Indian Reservation hospital in Sells, Arizona. This role combines hands‑on emergency nursing with leadership responsibilities, supporting both patient care excellence and staff performance in a fast‑paced, high‑acuity environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily Emergency Department operations
• Provide direct emergency and trauma nursing care as needed
• Serve as a clinical leader and resource for ER staff
• Assign staff, manage patient flow, and ensure adequate coverage
• Support onboarding, orientation, and ongoing staff education
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, protocols, and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary teams to deliver quality care
• Promote culturally sensitive, patient‑centered care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license from ANY state.
• 3–5+ years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Prior charge nurse or supervisory experience preferred
• BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC required
• Strong trauma and emergency care skills
• Excellent leadership, communication, and critical‑thinking skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in rural, tribal, or Indian Health Service (IHS) facilities
• Familiarity with serving diverse and underserved populations
• BSN preferred
