🏥 Role Overview

• Position: RN – Telemetry / Med-Surg
• Contract Dates: May 18, 2026 → July 12, 2026 (8 weeks)
• Purpose: Support during Epic go-live transition

💻 EMR Requirement (Strict)

• Must have:
  • Cerner experience
  • Epic experience

👉 Same as the ER posting—this is a transition assignment, not a training job.

⚠️ Biggest Requirement (Don’t Overlook This)

📉 Telemetry / Dysrhythmia Test

• You must:
  • Self-study telemetry before starting
  • Pass a basic dysrhythmia test in week 1

❗ If you fail → you cannot work on the unit

👉 For Med-Surg/Tele, this is even more important because:

• You’ll be actively monitoring cardiac patients
• Not just occasional exposure like in some ERs

🏥 Patient Population

You’ll care for:

• Telemetry patients (cardiac monitoring)
• Med/Surg patients
• Adult & geriatric population

👉 Expect a mix of:

• Cardiac conditions
• Post-op patients
• Chronic illness exacerbations

📋 Required Certifications

• ACLS (cardiac-focused unit)
• NIH Stroke Scale
