🕒 Schedule

Shift: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
👉 8.5-hour shift (includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch in most cases)
Days: Monday – Friday
Call: Required (rotation-based)

📋 Required Certifications & Credentials

You must have:

BLS (Basic Life Support)

AND one of the following:

CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist)
ARRT(N) (Nuclear Medicine certification through ARRT)

PLUS:

Kentucky state license

👉 Nuclear Medicine Technologist position

You’d typically be:

Performing nuclear imaging procedures
Administering radiopharmaceuticals
Operating imaging equipment (gamma camera, PET/CT, etc.)

Job Responsibilities: -Verifies the ordered exam and appropriateness utilizing assessment data and principles of growth and development. -Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients. -Position the patient and equipment to achieve the optimal images. -Utilizes imaging, computer, and other equipment as appropriate to produce and retain high quality diagnostic images which meet or exceed department, organizational and industry standards. -Works with physicians to evaluate the images and determine whether or not additional images are needed. -AppIies radiation safety techniques and devices to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff. -Applying professional knowledge, prepares patients for the procedure, educates and responds to questions or concerns. -Ensures age-appropriate approach to communication, safety needs, patient education and principles of physical/functional growth and development.
