Description
Position: Physical Therapist (PT) – Seasonal
Location: Hattiesburg, Mississippi
Contract: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hrs/week
Shift
- Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (30-minute lunch)
- Weekend: One full weekend per month
Unit Details
- Setting: Acute Care (functions similar to surgery center)
- Charting System: Epic
- Patient Volume: 7–9 patients/day (mostly evaluations)
- PTs cover all acute care units and may float to Ortho Institute (hip, knee, spine surgeries)
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Active PT license from the Mississippi State Board of Physical Therapy or Compact License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- 2 hours of CVA stroke education within the last 4 months (or completed during first week onsite)
- Experience requirement:
- 1 year acute care PT experience, OR
- 2 years SNF/Inpatient Rehab experience
