CORE supervisor, generalist- experience with micro, hematology, immunology, chem
Client is looping for a DCLS and/or experiencing managing/supervising
- Direct CCH management policies and practices
- Assures day to day responsibility for overall operations, activities, and staff within the laboratory
- Performs and supervises the execution of diverse tests and procedures
- Participate in collective bargaining negotiations, caucus discussions and working meetings
- Initiate, authorize and complete disciplinary action pursuant to CCH system rules, policies, procedures and provision of applicable collective bargaining agreements
- Contribute to the management of CCH staff and and CCH's systematic development and success
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Medical Technology or the applicable scientific field of study from an accredited college or university.
- Must qualify as a Medical Technologist *as defined by the Illinois Clinical Laboratories Code
- Six (6) years of full time, professional work experience with clinical experience in chemistry
- Two (2) years of administrative, technical, and/or lead oversight for the delivery of clinical laboratory services.
- National certification as a Technologist through ASCP, AMT, or AAB is mandatory.
- COVID-19 Vaccine and BOOSTER. No exceptions.
