Description

Job Title: Hospital Pharmacist

Location: Santa Monica, CA
Schedule: Day Shift, 5x8 hours (07:00 AM – 04:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and dispense sterile compounded medications, including chemotherapy and hazardous drugs
Perform accurate clinical dosing, pharmacokinetic dosing, and therapeutic drug monitoring
Ensure compliance with sterile technique and safety standards
Manage high-alert medications and antineoplastic agents
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
Oversee IV medication preparation including IV piggybacks, IV push medications, and cassette systems
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure regulatory compliance
Support pharmacotherapy management for oncology patients

Required Qualifications

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
Active Registered Pharmacist (RPh) license
Minimum 2 years of inpatient pharmacy experience
Hands-on experience with sterile compounding (hazardous and non-hazardous drugs)
Strong knowledge of IV preparation and oncology pharmacotherapy
Ability to pass PATT testing
