Description

Job Title: Radiation Therapist – Day Shift
Location: Eureka, CA

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist for a 13-week contract. This is a great opportunity to work in a collaborative oncology setting providing advanced radiation treatments to adult and geriatric patients. First-time travelers are welcome!

Schedule:

Shift: Days (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Duration: 13 weeks
Hours: 5x8s

Responsibilities:

Deliver radiation therapy treatments (IMRT, SRS, SBRT)
Perform patient setup, positioning, and imaging (CBCT, kV/mV)
Ensure radiation safety and accurate treatment delivery
Educate patients and families on procedures
Collaborate with oncology team for treatment planning

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of Radiation Therapy experience
ARRT (T) Certification
BLS Certification
Epic experience required
Active CA license (in hand at submission)

Facility Highlights:

Acute Care Hospital (150 beds)
Advanced equipment including Elekta systems and C-RAD
Free parking (assigned after orientation)

Additional Details:

First-time travelers accepted
Floating may be required
Must be flexible with holidays (2 of 3 required)
