Description
Job Title: RN Unit Manager
Location: Rio Rancho, NM
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced RN Unit Manager for a 9-week contract. This leadership role is ideal for a nurse with strong clinical and management skills, overseeing daily operations and ensuring high-quality patient care in a long-term care setting.
Schedule:
- Shift: Days (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
- Preferred: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Days: Monday – Friday
- Hours: 40 hours/week guaranteed
- Meal Break: 30 minutes
Responsibilities:
- Supervise nursing staff and oversee unit operations
- Ensure quality patient care and regulatory compliance
- Coordinate care plans and support interdisciplinary teams
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and workflow
- Serve as a clinical resource and leader on the unit
Requirements:
- Active RN license
- Previous leadership or Unit Manager experience preferred
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
