Description

Respiratory Therapist – Travel
📍 Johnson City, NY
🕒 Nights | 36 hrs/week

Job Summary:
Provide respiratory therapy care in a hospital setting, including patient evaluation, treatment, and support for inpatients and outpatients.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer respiratory therapies (aerosol, CPT, PEP, MDI, oxygen therapy)
Manage ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, and high-flow systems
Perform ABGs, pulse oximetry, EKGs, and pulmonary diagnostics
Assist with extubation, suctioning, and airway management
Respond to alarms and support critical care/NICU patients
Participate in patient transport as needed

Requirements:

1–3 years experience (critical care & NICU required)
Experience with V60 BiPAP & PB 980 ventilators
Graduate of an accredited RT program

Certifications:

NY RT License/Permit
RRT (NBRC)
BLS & ACLS (AHA preferred)

Systems:
EPIC EMR + Soarian, MAK, McKesson
