📍 Start Date

  • Fixed start date (not flexible)
  • 100-mile radius rule applies

⏰ Weekly Hours

  • 36 hours/week (3Ă—12 shifts)
  • No 48-hour guarantees

  • Epic EMR experience required (within the last 2 years)

🏥 Facility Overview

  • Trauma Level: II
  • ER Volume: ~300 patients/day
  • Beds: 20 ER beds + 2 Trauma Bays
  • Fast Track: 6 beds
  • Triage: Quick Look – 2 areas (ESI system)

👩‍⚕️ Nurse-to-Patient Ratios

  • Medical ER: 1:5
  • UCY: 1:2–3
  • Fast Track: 1:6

  • Experience:
    • Minimum 2 years ER experience
    • Must have Trauma Level I or II experience within the last 2 years
  • Certifications:
    • BLS
    • ACLS
    • PALS
    • NIHSS
    • TNCC (Preferred)

🩺 Patient & Case Types

  • All emergency conditions
  • Trauma cases including Gunshot & Stabbing experience (bonus)
  • STEMI & Stroke receiving facility (stroke intervention transferred if needed)

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Support & Staffing

  • ED Techs / PCA support (EKG, vitals, labs, splints)
  • Respiratory Therapy available 24/7
  • Dedicated CT & X-ray in ER
  • Security in ER 24/7

  • Shift Start Times: 7 AM, 10 AM, 11 AM, 12 PM, 1 PM, 3 PM
  • Modified Self-Scheduling

Weekend Requirement

  • 4 weekend shifts per 4-week block

Holiday Requirement

  • Usually 2 of the 5 major holidays (including eves)

RTO

  • Maximum 5 days
