RN – ER/Med-surg/ICU Contract | Geneva General Hospital | Up To $2,218 Weekly
Location: Geneva, NY
Facility: Geneva General Hospital
Address: 196 Noth st, Geneva, NY 14456

Schedule:
• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend + holidays
• 2 on-call shifts every 4 weeks
Requirements:
• Must be comfortable floating between Med/Surg, ICU, and ER
• BSN required
• Minimum 1 year experience (Med/Surg, Tele, or Critical Care)
• Active NY RN License
Certifications:
• BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA or RQI only)
• NIHSS required
• CPI within 90 days
• Basic Coronary Care within 6 months
Preferred:
• Emergency Nursing certification (within 2 years)
• TNCC (within 2 years)
Travel Pay (50+ miles required):
36 Hour Week: $2,218 Weekly Gross
• Taxable Hourly: $27
• Tax-Free Stipends: $1246
Contract Length:
13 weeks
Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care across multiple units including Med/Surg, ICU, and ER
• Perform patient assessments and continuously monitor changes in condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions safely and accurately
• Float between units as needed based on patient care demands
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust care plans
• Respond to emergencies and provide critical care interventions when required
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
• Educate patients and families on care plans, treatments, and discharge instructions
• Utilize critical thinking skills to prioritize patient care in a fast-paced environment
• Support a safe, respectful, and patient-centered care environment
• Follow infection control protocols and hospital policies at all times
• Assist in coordinating care and ensuring continuity across units
