Travel Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist – Oklahoma City, OK

Start Date: ASAP

Assignment Length: 13 Weeks (Possible Extension)

Gross Pay: $3,208/week

Schedule: 3×12 Days

Bonus: $800 Sign‑On After 30 Days

 

Position Overview

A high‑demand facility in Oklahoma City is seeking an experienced Travel IR Technologist to support its vascular and neuro‑interventional service lines. This role requires strong procedural competency, the ability to work independently, and comfort in a fast‑paced IR environment. Ideal for a tech with solid vascular and neuro experience looking for a stable daytime schedule and potential extension.

 

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of recent IR experience, primarily vascular and neuro
  • Must hold one of the following certifications:
  • RDCS, RVT, ARRT, RCCS, RCS, RCIS, or RVS
  • Current BLS
  • Strong procedural knowledge and sterile‑field competency
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high‑acuity IR department

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist physicians with vascular and neuro‑interventional procedures
  • Prepare and position patients, maintain sterile technique, and ensure radiation safety
  • Operate imaging equipment and support real‑time procedural imaging
  • Monitor patient status and provide high‑quality, patient‑centered care
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure equipment readiness
  • Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and technologists to support efficient workflow
