🧾 Job Summary

The Pharmacist delivers high-quality pharmaceutical care by reviewing medication orders, dispensing prescriptions, and providing patient counseling. This role supports both outpatient and inpatient services while ensuring compliance with federal and clinical standards.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Review and verify medication orders for safety and accuracy
• Dispense medications and ensure proper documentation
• Provide patient counseling on medication usage and side effects
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams on drug therapy decisions
• Monitor for drug interactions and adverse reactions
• Maintain accurate records using electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Assist with inpatient and outpatient pharmacy operations
• Administer immunizations (if certified)
• Participate in audits, inventory control, and medication safety programs
• Respond to emergencies and initiate appropriate interventions (CPR if required)

🎓 Minimum Qualifications

• PharmD or Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited program
• Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in any U.S. state
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

💼 Experience Required

• Minimum 2 years of clinical or hospital pharmacy experience
• Experience in inpatient or ambulatory care preferred

🕒 Work Schedule

Outpatient / Ambulatory Care Options:

• Monday – Friday
• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM OR 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Inpatient / Acute Care Option:

• 10-hour shifts (7:30 AM – 6:00 PM)
• 4 days/week (3 days off)
• May include weekends and holidays
