RN Emergency Dept

Facility Name: Haywood Regional Medical Center
• Shift: 7p-7a
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: every other weekend unless person working opposite is a weekender
• Call Requirements: none
• Required Certifications: ACLS/PALS/BLS/NIH Stroke
• Years of Experience: 2-3+ years ED and 1 year travel
• Float Requirements: NA

• Additional Notes: Self scheduling in an app called When to Work

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 17
• Patient Ratios: 1:4
• EHR: ED Paragon

• Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: Geriatric, adult primarily; some peds

Hiring Profile:

• Must Have Skills/Experience: 2-3+ years ED experience; ability to efficiently and safely care for team of patients regardless of acuity; ability to recognize changes in patient status and comfort with knowing what to do in situation, active BLS & RN license
• Preferred Skillset/Experience:
• Common Diagnosis/Treatment: CP, abd pain, psych
