- NICU & Pediatrics: Assist in high-risk deliveries; manage Bubble CPAP, perform direct neonatal intubation, and collect umbilical/capillary blood gases.
- Critical Care & Trauma: Provide respiratory support for ARDS, multi-trauma, and COVID patients; perform arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis via Istat POC.
- Medication Administration: Deliver a wide array of pulmonary medications including Albuterol, Xopenex, Inhaled Flolan, and Nitric Oxide (iNo).

- Diagnostics: Perform bedside spirometry and assist with bronchoscopies as needed.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Credential: Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). CRTs will not be accepted.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of RRT experience. Trauma Level II experience is required. Previous Charge experience is preferred.
- Licensure: Active Texas (TX) Respiratory Care Practitioner license.

Clinical Spotlight: The Full-Spectrum Therapist
In a facility that functions as a Level II Trauma center with a Level III NICU, your clinical scope is exceptionally broad. On a single shift, you may transition from managing a premature infant on an Oscillating Ventilator to managing an adult trauma patient with ARDS on a PB 980. Your expertise in interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs) and airway management is the linchpin for both the neonatal and adult critical care teams.
