Location: Clinton, Iowa

Job Description

• Work schedule includes every third weekend, with one summer, one winter, and one off holiday.

Required Qualifications

Licensure

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• License verification must be dated within 30 days of start.

Certifications

• BLS (American Heart Association certification required for all direct patient care personnel).
• ACLS (required for RNs in critical care areas such as ICU).
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention).
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale).
• Specialty-specific competency testing must be completed within the last year.

Health and Safety Requirements

• Fit test.
• 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start (no THC).
• COVID-19 vaccine proof (including booster by September 2025), declination or exemption accepted except in certain states.
• MMR: Proof of 2 vaccinations or IgG titer.
• Hepatitis B vaccination series must be in progress or completed prior to start.
• Influenza vaccine proof or declination for current flu season.
• 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) for TB screening.
• Varicella vaccination or IgG titer proof.
• Physical/health statement confirming fitness to work within the last year.
• Tdap vaccine or declination (declination accepted if no pediatric interaction).

Background and Compliance

• Federal, nationwide, and county criminal background check from the last 7 years, including SSN verification, dated within 30 days of start.
• Education verification of highest academic degree or diploma.
• Exclusion screenings (EPLS, OIG, NSO) dated within 30 days of start.
• Completion of confidentiality, code of conduct, conflict of interest, integrity and audit services, and patient information security agreements.
• System access form completed and uploaded one week before start.
• Child and adult dependent abuse training (Iowa only).
• State-specific criminal history and abuse registry checks (Iowa only).
